Simulation, Sound, Paintings.
On a black screen, the simulation randomly chooses between possible scenes and arranges the elements in different ways, generating an emerging narrative that mixes mystery and humor. The Entes combined syllables creating meaningless words, while abstract organic figures float in a space distorted by a psychedelic wet substance. On the other wall, a series of paintings made in acrylic and watercolor portray other beings that could be part of that same virtual universe.
In the paintings I look for the shapes and characters that I later model in 3D and include in the simulation. At the same time, the simulation gives me new ideas that I capture in the paintings. In this way, feedback is generated between digital and traditional media.
