Live AV performance at Mutek festival (Buenos Aires)
One of the strategies that I use to exhibit my work is the live audiovisual performance, or Live AV. It consists of a real-time manipulation of a simulated virtual world that produce an audiovisual synchrony in which the senses are mixed in a synesthetic manner.
This strategy allows me to experiment with different combinations of the material, his reaction in the viewer and to explore new forms for the cinematographic medium mixed with the live music.
My Live AV are a constant work in progress composed of primitive polygonal landscapes, glitch, vegetable consciousness, psychedelic cartoons, experimental electronic music, strange dance rhythms, influences of aboriginal rituals, noise and dub. A combination of dance, environmental and narrative experience that takes advantage of the intensity of the image and sound to reflect on human consciousness.
